The Director General of the Plateau Environmental Protection and Sanitation Agency (PEPSA) Mr Samuel Dapiya has visited the agency’s 6.04 Hectre dump site located at Ganok, Tanchol, Gyel, Jos South LGA of Plateau State. In company of some members of his management team, Mr Dapiya said that the visit was part of his efforts to ensure that waste collected during routine waste evacuation and monthly environmental sanitation do not end up back on the streets for lack of dump site.

Mr Dapiya noted that other dump sites of the agency will be visited in order to make them active, stressing that the agency was now ready to ensure that the Jos – Bukuru Metropolis and indeed Plateau State at large was clean and green.
Earlier, the Director General of PEPSA, Mr Samuel Dapiya visited the the Jos Green Center in order to show appreciation for the donation of waste bins which the center has donated to the agency few years ago. He assured them of the agency’s readiness to partner with the center in order to deliver on ‘The Time is Now’ mandate of Governor Caleb Mannaseh Mutfwang of keeping Plateau State Clean and Green.
