The Leadership of Jengre Old Students Association (JENOSA) has extended her heartfelt condolences the Executive Governor of Plateau State Barrister Caleb Mannaseh Mutfwang, the the people of Plateau State; especially the immediate families of the victims of Friday 12th July, 2024 Saints Academy School Building collapse tragedy in Jos, Plateau State which led to the loss of 22 young lives while leaving hundreds injured.
In a statement signed by the National Secretary of JENOSA Arch Augustine Ajijelek on Saturday 13th July 2024, the association noted that the tragedy has indeed affected a large spectrum of people in the state, beyond the immediate families of the victims, they pledge to assist where possible.
“This tragedy has deeply affected not only the immediate families and the school community but also the entire state. We stand in solidarity with you during this difficult time and share in your grief. We pray that the Almighty God receives and reposes the precious souls of the departed children. May He grant them eternal rest.”
“For those injured, we fervently pray for their swift and complete recovery.To the bereaved families and the SAINTS Academy community, we ask that God provides divine comfort and the strength to bear this immense loss. May they find solace in the memories of their loved ones and the support of the community around them.”
“We commend the Plateau State Government for its prompt response and the measures taken to ensure proper treatment for the injured. Your swift action and support for the affected families during this crisis are truly appreciated.”
