Exective Chairman of Jos South LGA Hon Silas Dung visits victims of Bukuru Gas Explosion – Condoles their families

The Executive Chairman of Jos South LGA, Hon Silas Patrick Dung has condoled with the families of those who were affected by the unfortunate gas explosion incident which occurred in Bukuru, Jos South LGA of Plateau State.

The unfortunate incident occurred on Monday 28th October 2024 at the residence of Mallam Abdulmajeed Danbala in Bukuru, Jos, where 3 persons reportedly died, with 2 persons in critical condition at the Intensive Care Unit of the Jos University Teaching Hospital, while the other 2 have been discharged.

The Executive Chairman who got the information on Thursday 31st October 2024 immediately rushed to the residence of Mallam Abdulmajeed to condole with the families. Executive Chairman then proceeded to the Intensive Care Unit of JUTH to check on those hospitalized to ascertain their state of health.

The Executive Chairman thereafter urged the people to be cautious as they make use of cooking gas cylinders, while ensuring that they check expiry dates on the cylinders before continuous use.
