Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Congratulates Governor Mutfwang on his 2nd Year Anniversary in Office

Chief Ephraim Usman Gar, the Honorable Commissioner, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Yakubu Ishaya Mallo, management, and the entire staff of the Ministry, has felicitated with His Excellency, Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, Executive Governor of Plateau State, and his Deputy, Honorable Josephine Piyo, on the occasion of their second anniversary in office.

In a detailed statement, Honourable Ephraim Gar praised the Governor’s holistic approach to governance over the past two years, highlighting it as a model of effective and proactive leadership that has brought about transformative changes across the state.

The Commissioner underscored several key achievements, including massive urban and rural road construction projects, the provision of agricultural implements to farmers, notable improvements in the educational sector, strengthened efforts in tackling insecurity, enhanced healthcare delivery, tourism development, labour relations, and human capital development.

According to Honourable Gar, these accomplishments demonstrate the administration’s commitment to improving the lives of Plateau State citizens.
