Plateau State Commissioner for Budget and Planning Commemorates Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary with a Call for Unity and Progress

As Nigerians across the world prepare to mark the country’s 65th Independence Day celebration, the Honorable Commissioner, Ministry for Budget and Economic Planning, Hon Adams Bulus Lekshak has extended warm felicitations to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Barrister Caleb Manaseh Mutfwang and indeed all Nigerians in celebrating the nation’s 2025 independence day anniversary.

In a statement issue on Tuesday 30th September 2025 ahead of the Independence day celebration, on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, management, and staff of the Ministry, Hon Lengshak praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his visionary leadership and the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people.

“To His Excellency, the Governor of Plateau State, your dedication to the welfare of our people is an inspiration to us all. Your agenda has set a clear and ambitious path for us to follow, and we in the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning are fully committed to ensuring its success through prudent financial management and strategic planning.”

He further urged Nigerians to unite in peaceful coexistence and to work collectively towards advancing the progress and prosperity of the nation.

The Commissioner’s message comes at a time when the nation reflects on its past achievements and looks forward to a future marked by unity, development, and stability. The statement is presented below;
