Wase Equity Project Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr – Commends Gov Mutfwang, Prof other Leaders

The Wase Equity Project has extended warm greetings to Muslims in Wase Federal Constituency, Plateau State, and across Nigeria as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan. In a statement issued on Thursday March 19, 2026 by Abubakar Muhammad Badu, the Publicity Secretary of the group, the group joined millions of faithful in celebrating the festival, describing it as a period of gratitude, renewal, and spiritual fulfillment following weeks of fasting and devotion.

The organization commended leaders and individuals for their support during Ramadan, noting that their contributions helped strengthen communal bonds and alleviate hardship among residents. Among those acknowledged were Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, for what the group described as compassionate leadership, and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, for his encouragement and support.

The group also praised Ahmed Idris Wase, representing Wase Federal Constituency, for his continued dedication to constituents, alongside Ibrahim Galadima for his grassroots engagement.Similarly, the Chairman of Wase Local Government Council, Hamisu Haruna Muhammad Anani, was recognized for efforts in promoting peace and facilitating community support during the fasting period.

The Wase Equity Project further appreciated other individuals, groups, and organizations whose acts of generosity brought relief and joy to many during Ramadan.Offering prayers for the nation, the group called for wisdom and guidance for Nigeria’s leadership under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing hope for sustained peace, economic growth, and national unity.It also urged citizens to uphold the values of tolerance, empathy, and communal harmony imbibed during Ramadan, while encouraging responsible celebrations and continued collaboration for the progress of their communities.
