Moniepoint Microfinance Bank has concluded plans to host the State Retail Officers Masterclass (SROM) 2026, a three-day capacity–building programme aimed at strengthening sales performance and operational efficiency across its retail banking network.
The masterclass, themed “Sales and Operational Intelligence,” will hold from January 8 to 10, 2026, at the Prixair Training Center, Wuse Zone 6, Abuja, and is expected to bring together retail officers and key operational leaders from across the country and beyond.
According to the organisers, the programme is designed to equip participants with advanced intelligence-driven strategies to enhance customer acquisition, improve service delivery, and drive sustainable growth within Moniepoint’s rapidly expanding retail banking ecosystem.
Speaking ahead of the event, the convener and Regional Retail Officer for the North Central Region, Evah Progress, said the masterclass would focus on practical tools that will help retail officers become more data-driven, customer-centric and results-oriented in their daily operations.
“The 2026 edition of SROM is structured to strengthen the intelligence, leadership and operational competence of our retail workforce. We are committed to empowering our officers to drive smarter sales, deliver better services and accelerate growth across their regions,” he said.
The masterclass will feature sessions facilitated by senior Moniepoint executives and industry experts, including Ezekiel Sani, Senior Vice President, DNS; Tolu Alegbe, Vice President, Moniepoint Loans; Abdulmumin Tijjani, Regional Manager, Product Sales (Retail Banking); Mutiu Tijani, Regional Manager, Product Sales (Loans); Oluwatosin Oyekanmi, Head of Growth, Retail Banking; and marketing expert Udochukwu Chikwendu.
Other facilitators include Umulqusum Abdulwahab, HR Business Partner for the North Central Region; Sulaiman Rabiu, State Coordinator, FCT; Edwin Onyegbuna, Regional Compliance Officer; Betty Kenneth, Sales Operations Officer; and Hamza Abdullahi, Regional Training Officer.
Organisers noted that participants would be exposed to best practices in sales intelligence, operational excellence frameworks, customer growth strategies, compliance standards and leadership development.
