The Plateau State Internal Revenue Service (PSIRS) has announced the availability of more than 5,000 unclaimed driver’s licences received from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), calling on eligible residents to collect their licences without further delay.
In a statement by the Head of Corporate Communications Wulashik Lucius Dafaan, the Service noted the licences are ready for collection at the PSIRS Headquarters, No. 6 Bank Road, Jos, during official working hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The announcement is directed at Plateau State residents who have completed the driver’s licence application process but are yet to receive their licences. Applicants are advised to visit the office with a valid means of identification and any other relevant documents required for verification to ensure a seamless collection process.
PSIRS emphasized that the exercise is aimed at clearing the backlog of outstanding licences and ensuring that qualified motorists obtain their valid driving credentials promptly.Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity and collect their licences as soon as possible.
